The Youth Development Grant aims to provide support to youth in our district.
The Youth Development Grant is a joint initiative across the four Community Boards.
The Waimakariri Community Board members wanted to inspire our young people to achieve something for themselves and to add value to their community.
The purpose of the grant is to support one or more young people who are seeking to:
- To enhance and grow their personal development;
- To enhance their leadership skills; and
- To enhance the community in which they live;
- To help or benefit others.
