Horse riding is permitted on Woodend Beach with easy access from the Woodend Beach horse float car park at the end of Ferry Road. You can ride up to Waikuku Beach (not past the surf life saving club) or down to Kairaki Beach.
Please note, Woodend Beach is shared with commercial horse trainers.
